For
those visitors whose starting point is the Castilian
plateau, there are two different routes:
Along the N-I motorway
to Burgos. From this point, direction Palencia
Aguilar del Campo, taking the diversion 85 km from
Reinosa. The section linking Reinosa with Torrelavega
and Santander is very winding, with numerous turns,
although the tarmac is in good condition. In Torrelavega,
take the brand new Cantabric motorway to Oviedo.
It is almost finished, with the exception of 22
km that the N-364 is used. At the entrance of Llanes,
take the motorway, which re-starts here, branching
off at kilometre 7 towards Posada. From here to
Mare there is a good 9 km road with beautiful views.
In the centre of the town the Anita Bar can be found,
where we will give you your keys and you will be
taken to the Rural Houses.
For those whose starting
point is the East, the access is the same, except
the link with the Cantabric motorway, which should
be taken in Barakaldo, on the outskirts of Bilbao.
Up to this point the most comfortable and recommended
route is the toll motorway A-68. The alternative
route for the access from the Castilian plateau
is through Oviedo, reaching by the Del Huerna motorway
with access in Leon. In Oviedo, take the Cantabric
motorway towards Santander, which is not finished.
There are only unlinked sections, having to use
the old and winding N-364 until Ribadesella, then
taking this finished section of motorway until reaching
the Posada diversion.
Access from the West,
follow the same route, that is, get to Oviedo and
take the motorway towards Santander. |
